Cents, then $0.08-$0.12
Typical 30-minute call estimate during and after provider free credits.
These estimates are based on public provider pricing at the time of writing and may change. For comparison, AWS Transcribe standard streaming is about $0.72 for a 30-minute call in US East, and that is transcription only.
Buy your license
Pay securely with PayPal or card. Purchase creates a license entitlement that Haide retrieves automatically when you click Activate License inside the desktop app, enter your username and password, then click Get License.
Checking account session...
After paid activation, Haide is designed not to need ongoing access to the Haide website for normal use. Live transcription and AI suggestions still require Internet access to the providers you configure.
Haide transcribes voice communications. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws and obtaining any required consent from call participants.
Quick answers about Haide pricing and setup
Do I need a PayPal account?
No. PayPal checkout also supports direct credit and debit card payments.
Can I try Haide before buying?
Yes. Download Haide and use every feature free for 30 days. A license is required after the trial.
Does the license include guaranteed support or updates?
No guaranteed support, maintenance, or update period is included. Support and updates may be provided when available.
Is this a subscription?
No. Haide uses a $30 AUD one-time license after the 30-day free trial. Provider API usage is billed separately by the providers you configure.
How much does a typical call cost in provider usage?
A typical 30-minute Haide call can be cents or less while provider free credits cover transcription, because you may only pay for OpenAI or optional Cerebras usage. After those credits expire, it is often around $0.08-$0.12 in direct API usage, depending on call length, stream duration, selected models, region, and provider pricing.
How do I activate after purchase?
After purchasing, open the Haide desktop app and click Activate License. Enter the username and password for the account used for your purchase, then click Get License to retrieve and activate the license. If activation fails, contact support and include your purchase email.
What does the Haide AI Call Assistant license include?
The $30 AUD one-time license lets you continue using the Windows desktop app after the 30-day trial. Haide provides live transcription, local semantic search across your .txt documents, OpenAI document-grounded suggestions, and optional Cerebras speed-first suggestions. Usage charged by these AI providers is separate from the application license.
Do I need my own AI provider accounts and API keys?
Yes. Add your AssemblyAI API key for live transcription and your OpenAI API key for document-grounded suggestions in Haide Settings. You can also add a Cerebras key for optional speed-first answers. Provider usage is billed directly to your own accounts; the Haide license does not include API credits.
What do I need to set up before my first call?
Install Haide and VB-CABLE on your Windows PC, follow the audio-routing steps, and save your provider keys in Settings. Choose a folder of .txt knowledge files and embed them, then use the pre-call checklist to test transcription, caller playback, and retrieved knowledge. The illustrated setup guide walks through each stage.
Can I use Haide with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or browser meetings?
Haide works alongside calling applications that let you route their audio through VB-CABLE, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, MicroSIP, Webex, and browser-based meetings. It is a Windows desktop application and is currently optimized for English-language calls. Contact support to discuss requirements for another language.
Are my calls and knowledge documents sent to Haide servers?
Your knowledge documents are stored and searched locally on your Windows PC. Relevant audio, question text, and document context go directly to the configured AI providers when their services are used. Haide servers handle website, account, purchase, support, and licensing services rather than processing your call content.
Can I update my knowledge base for a different interview or sales call?
Yes. Prepare .txt files with relevant projects, company notes, product information, FAQs, or sales examples. Select the appropriate documents folder in Settings and click Embed after adding, changing, or removing files. You can tailor assistant instructions to the conversation. OpenAI suggestions use retrieved document context; the optional Cerebras path does not search your documents.
